Fradel Lodge Sheltered Housing & Extra Care Scheme

“A secure, relaxed and homely environment, in which care and comfort are of prime importance.”

Managed by Nursing and Management expert, Mrs Freda Lipszyc, Fradel Lodge is a warm community suited to older Jewish people seeking

A fully independent lifestyle.

“I need my space, I like to keep to my own schedule, and I thrive on housekeeping, but I’d like to feel safer at night and hand over my home security to someone else. I’m also conscious of planning for the future, and it would be easier for me to move at this stage than it will be in a few years time.”

A mostly independent lifestyle.

“I don’t need physical care, but I’m finding it too strenuous to get things like shopping and cooking done, and staying on top of bills and paperwork has become a real headache. My children don’t live locally, so I can’t count on them for help with these things.”

A partly independent lifestyle.

“I can’t keep track of my husband’s daily medications, and I think we would both feel more secure if there was another person around to assist him with showering and dressing every day. We don’t want to involve our children in our personal care, and sourcing a high-quality home carer is a big job.”

Our thorough pre-admissions process enables you to give us a clear picture of the exact level of support that you or your loved one requires, so that transition into the community is smooth, pleasant, and beneficial for all involved.
“Dear Mother entered the doors of Schonfeld Square with trepidation. But behind those doors she was able to find a whole community dedicated to her aspirations, her well-being, her security, her soul. She found neat, clean and tidy accommodation, a landscaped garden that she would so enjoy, care workers that understood and provided for her needs, entertainment, outings and inspirational speeches.”
